You would imagine that we would want to launch The Photographer’s Element (TPE) with a big chunk full of content for you – you know – to help boost SEO, to help make us look like we’ve been here a while.
Well, the truth is, if our message is one of PERSONALIZING your photography journey to you – we can’t just throw a bunch of blog content out there. Instead, our blog content will be tailored to what you have asked us about.
Features of the TPE blog to look forward to:
Mastery Monday Video.
We have teamed up with our instructors to take single, focused skills about photography, and teach them to you via video. Ranging from how to do back-button focus, to trouble-shooting lens error messages. As we see your questions come in via facebook and the site, then short video clips will be produced. FOR YOU.
Exclusive Elizabeth Series:
We are honored to be the exclusive hosts of the fabulous Elizabeth Halford’s word babies. We will be rolling out her content about pricing, selling, packaging, light, life, and who knows what. For her faithful readers, this will bring a refreshing remembrance to what made her a household name in Photography. For those readers who haven’t yet met her, you are in for some life-changing wisdom as she guides you through the ins and outs of her own photography journey. Get ready!
As part of our dedication to photography education, our Facebook page will be hosting a bi-monthly Extra Credit Dare!
The rules are simple: TPE will provide you with a word + a photography term. Your job is to combine that word, using the photography term/technique that we provide.
Example: FLIGHT + f/1.8
This gives you the chance to work for 2 weeks towards a shot that fits the theme of FLIGHT, using an aperture of f/1.8.
Your reward? A feature on the TPE blog, plus $10 in tuition dollars to spend on any TPE course.
Case Studies Series:
Have a question about your photography? Or your Business? Don’t know who to ask?
Email me personally here: sarahgrace @ thephotographerselement.com with the subject CASE STUDY, and I’ll contact the best TPE expert to look at your case and report back to the blog. (This is the series I am MOST excited about!)
We are excited to blog, right alongside your growth and enthusiasm! Thanks for being part of The Photographer’s Element!
Which series are YOU most excited to see published?
